Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD Out January For XBLA?

Liberation was announced for the 360 some time last month, but today Ubisoft has given a release date for Assassins Creed: Liberation HD (albeit for the Playstation Store) but it gives us a good indication as to when it will be release on XBLA.

The game is a remake of the Assassins Creed III spin off that was originally exclusive to the PS Vita, and starred a female assassin by the name of Aveline. Set in New Orleans between 1765 and 1780, it tells a story that takes place between the end of the French and Indian war and in the middle of the American Revolution.

An assassin of French and African descent, Aveline fights the oppression of slavery in AC Liberation. The game also features improved gameplay and missions, reworked for home consoles. Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD is scheduled for launch on January 14th, 2014 on PSN, so we’re going to take a guess and say it will be out for XBLA around the same time.
